Merlina, is a self-taught artist based in Barcelona, Argentina.
After traveling around the world for many years, and being inspired by different cultures, colors, flavors and aesthetics, she found, by chance, in her hometown, a technique that blew her mind: glass.
Together with an artisan, they dabbled in shapes and colors and that's how Suplais was born, as a game where she can express her taste for fun jewelry that awakens her inner child.

Experimenting with solid glass technique

Everything is handmade with solid glass technique.
In Merlina's workshop, they use recycled glass, and the process of creation is quite intuitive, starting from an idea of collection and being glass, they try different shapes that can work until they get to the right one.

The ring being 100% glass and in constant use, it is not easy to break, but if, after use, remember to store it in a safe place, because the glass itself is fragile, so if it falls from a considerable height, it can break.
