Cere Italiane is the brand of handmade beeswax candles founded by candle sculptor Federica Volpe. Born in Abruzzo, she completed her studies in Fashion Styling in Milan and in Photography in Verona. After years of experimentation, inspired by the versatility of beeswax, she opened her own creative studio and founded her brand. Cere Italiane was born from a careful study and manipulation of beeswax as a moldable material.

Reshaping the Ancient Medieval method

Each creation is individually handmade without the use of molds, through a lengthy process of immersion and layering of molten beeswax onto a cotton wick, following the ancient medieval method.

Subsequently, through careful twisting and manipulation of the wax, the unique shapes of Cere Italiane come to life.
Some models are hand-painted and decorated using various techniques: wax application, engraving, and casting.
Finally, some models are treated at the base to become self-supporting and transform into true wax sculptures.
