Carlotta Orlando, class 1998, is a young designer from Milan who has decided to join the fight for more responsible fashion. Carlotta, while studying fashion, became aware of what was really hiding behind the clothes we wear, she became more and more interested and informed about the processes and techniques used in fashion, learning about the big issues that characterise the way fashion is produced, conceived and consumed.

That's why, after graduating in fashion design at Politecnico di Milano, she founded Giglio Tigrato, an upcycling brand with the aim of proving that upcycling is scalable and the only possible solution to change the destiny of the Fashion System today.
Carlotta's love for nature has always been evident since her childhood, growing up in Milan but always escaping the chaos of the city with her big family, she cherishes the precious memories of a childhood surrounded by the countryside, games and adventures. Giglio Tigrato becomes the mirror of these memories, putting all the Italian craftsmanship, attention to detail and product quality into practice.
