Simona Frigerio is an Italian sculptor and designer who, for over 20 years, has been creating a visionary and vibrant world of ceramics—a Wunderkammer of oneiric jewelry and contemporary sculptures.

Her artistic concept is the result of an interplay of experiences: from studying Psychology, to fashion and advertising photography studies, to the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan.

It is in the enchantment of ceramics that she finds the ideal medium and the perfect synthesis for her artistic research: a meeting between clay and the zen fascination of raku, stoneware, and porcelain.

Simona Frigerio’s work is internationally recognized and has been featured in art galleries and prestigious fairs, from the Tent Design Festival in London to the Artexpo Art Fair in New York.

She created a ceramic jewelry collection for Emporio Armani Uomo, which was presented at the SS26 show.

Technique

Each piece of jewelry is shaped by hand using only a few essential tools. Through a meticulous process, every bead is hollowed out manually to ensure exceptional lightness. Is ceramic jewelry very fragile?

Simona Frigerio uses high-resistance stoneware and refractory clays—materials that, after firing, become solid and durable. Although they are designed for everyday wear, they remain small precious worlds of clay: we recommend handling them with the same loving care reserved for an artwork or a unique talisman.

Will the piece I receive be identical to the one in the photo?

As each piece is entirely shaped by hand and finished with artisanal glazes, every creation is unique.
