Perpetuating and redesigning traditional Spanish craftsmanship since 2021
Casa Maricruz was founded in 2021 by María Estrada, Antón Álvarez, and Álvaro Santos as a cultural movement dedicated to preserving traditional Spanish craftsmanship, redefining Spanish identity and heritage while challenging mass production and consumerism.
Every piece they create engages in a dialogue between tradition and modernity, reimagining Spanish identity while standing firm against the fast-paced, disposable nature of today’s world.
All pieces are crafted from materials sourced directly from the earth, and one day, when they have fulfilled their purpose, they will return to it—just as the objects of our ancestors did.
Casa Maricruz offers a timeless collection of handmade ceramics, glassware, wood, candles, and linens. The mission is to preserve what artisans have perfected over centuries, while rethinking designs and twisting patterns, shapes, colors, and finishes to adapt them for the contemporary home.
Every piece is created for daily use, because objects are happiest when fulfilling their mission in everyday life. These pieces are meant to be cherished and passed down through generations, embodying the magic of local craftsmanship and the essence of Spanish heritage, because in the end, the future is handmade.

Into Granada ceramics and Mallorca glass
The Granada ceramics process involves shaping, drying, glazing, and hand-painting clay, resulting in vibrant, minimalist pieces with a matte finish that honor tradition.
Mallorca glass pieces are crafted from recycled glass, heated, and hand-blown, blending Roman-inspired techniques with sustainable practices.

Clay & Recycled glass
Casa Maricruz uses clay and recycled glass for their Granada ceramics and Mallorca glass. Clay connects to Granada’s tradition, while recycled glass highlights their commitment to sustainability. Ceramics are shaped, dried, glazed, and hand-painted, while glass is heated and blown. This method preserves craftsmanship and creates unique pieces.

Blending Spanish identity with eco-friendly practices
Casa Maricruz crafts sustainable, timeless pieces that honor the environment and cultural heritage. By blending Spanish identity with eco-friendly practices, they reflect local artisans' wisdom. Rejecting disposable culture, they reimagine tradition to ensure each piece eventually returns to the earth, completing the natural cycle.
