No! After the decal application, each piece undergoes high-temperature kiln firing to permanently seal the design. It won't come off and is both dishwasher safe and food safe.

Yes, it is real gold. For pieces with gold, we recommend not using them in the microwave and suggest gently hand washing when needed.

While both porcelain and ceramic are fired clay, porcelain is made with finer materials and fired at higher temperatures, resulting in a denser, whiter, and more water-resistant body.

Porcelain Poetry

She draws illustrations matching the shape of each piece. The designs are printed on specially treated paper using ceramic ink and soaked in water to transfer them onto the porcelain. The pieces are fired at high temperatures to seal the designs, then hand-painted with shiny gold accents and fired once more when needed.
