All objects and materials contain within themselves a story which is worth being told.”

Carla Movia (born in 1989 in Trieste, Italy) is a contemporary jewellery maker based in Trieste. She holds a BFA (2014) and MFA (2016) in Contemporary Jewellery and Body Ornament from Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence tutored by Dutch artists Ruudt Peters and Lucy Sarneel. She is currently based in Trieste where she works as an independent jewellery maker and regularly travels to Florence where she teaches at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School.

Carla Movia's work has been exhibited worldwide and in 2017 she has been awarded the Talent prize in Munich, Germany.
