Each blanket is made up of four 50x50 cm squares, created by different people using their own techniques and colors of their choice: each square is therefore a unique piece representing their own NO to violence against women.

The four squares are sewn together with red thread, symbolizing union and connection, to create 100x100 cm blankets.

Each blanket has a label with a serial number and the name of the city, so that it can be traced back to the event where it was displayed and the message of NO to violence against women can be renewed together.

The available blankets covered Piazza Andrea d'Isernia in November 2024 during the Viva Vittoria Isernia event. This Shared Relational Work was organized by “Me Too odv”.

BLANKETS TAKE OVER THE CITY

Events

Viva Vittoria collects thousands of knitted/ crocheted squares made by volunteers and composes blankets to use them for huge installations, on the event day blankets are used to raise money for charity.
