Ingredients
- rolled oats
- almonds
- coconut flakes
- flaxseed
- cocoa powder
- blueberries (or any other topping of choice)
- coconut oil (or other oil of choice)
- maple syrup or honey
Tools
- For serving: handmade deep bowl by Giulio Pottery
- wooden spoon
- airtight container
- large skillet
Step 1: Melt coconut oil and maple syrup
Put the coconut oil and maple syrup in a large skillet and cook together over medium-high heat until bubbly (30-60 seconds). Then add the other ingredients, except the cocoa powder.
Step 2: Mix all the ingredients
Stir the oat mixture with a spoon until the oats and nuts turn golden brown and smell fragrant for about 3–4 minutes. Add the cocoa powder and remove the pan from the heat. Once congealed, roughly mix in the granola to create crunchy lumps.
Step 3: Let it cool and eat
When the granola is completely cool, it’s ready to be eaten or stored in an airtight container. You can prepare it the night before and leave it to cool overnight so that you have everything ready for your TA-DAAN breakfast.
