Élodie Souillard is the founder of Un Chat dans ma Botte, a French brand she launched in 2017. After studying at the Atelier Hourdé art school in Paris, she worked in contemporary art as a press officer, where close contact with artists shaped her creative perspective. Growing up in an artistic family, with a mother who was an artist, Élodie developed an early love for materials and simple, meaningful objects.
Her inspiration for napkin rings came from a childhood memory — engraved ones her grandfather kept, each bearing a family member’s name. After the birth of her son, Élodie became more mindful of daily rituals and sought lasting alternatives to disposable habits. Switching to fabric napkins, she imagined a personalized ring to mark each one — beautiful, useful, and full of meaning.
