Flavia Patanè

Catania, Italy

Not perfection, presence.

Born in Catania, shaped by Milan, and always on the move — Flavia is a jewelry designer with a background in Fashion Design from Politecnico di Milano and a Master in Product Management from Milano Fashion Institute. After years spent working behind the scenes of luxury brands, she felt the call to create with her hands again.
In 2022, she trained in goldsmithing at Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, rediscovering the power of making. Her work draws from nature’s textures and shapes, blending organic forms with the timelessness of silver and bronze.

From wax to metal

P/effe jewelry takes shape through lost-wax casting — an ancient goldsmithing technique dating back to the 3rd millennium BC.
This method allows to imprint the metal with textures and tactile sensations inspired by nature.
Each piece is entirely made in Italy: designed, sculpted in wax, cast and finished by hand.
Flavia works with a trusted network of people — from stone suppliers to photographers — whose contribution is essential in building an ethical and thoughtful supply chain.
P/effe packaging is handcrafted in-house using upcycled textile remnants — materials salvaged from the fashion industry and given a new purpose.
Each pouch is different, shaped by imperfection and artisanal care.
