Olivia Studio - Benedetta Cardillo - ceramist

BENEDETTA CARDILLO

Rome, ITALY

Support Italian heritage and traditions

Born and raised in Rome, Benedetta, the founder of Olivia Studio Ceramiche, graduated with honors from IED in Fashion Styling. However, her passion for ceramics began much earlier, during her high school years when she studied plastic and sculptural arts.

In 2020, after spending a significant amount of time on the island of Ventotene, a true spiritual retreat, she rediscovered the pleasure of a slower-paced life and returned to ceramics, which teaches us just that. Returning to Rome after several trips to Northern Europe, she decided to open a ceramics studio in the capital, inspired by those she had seen during her travels. A street-level studio where one can peek at hands at work day and night.
