Ilaria Poggiana is an Italian artist and the founder of Materika Lab, a creative studio dedicated to hand-painted ceramics.

Born in 1992, she developed a passion for drawing, painting and artistic expression from an early age. She studied ceramics and design at the Art School of Nove, in an area renowned for its ceramic tradition.

After exploring different artistic techniques and gaining professional experience in the ceramic industry, she returned to the material that had first inspired her.

Materika Lab was born from her desire to bring art into everyday life, transforming ceramic objects into expressive, one-of-a-kind creations.

Inspired by nature, animals, colour and contemporary art, Ilaria paints every decoration by hand, celebrating individuality and the beauty of imperfection.

Her philosophy is rooted in creativity, craftsmanship and the belief that everyday objects can tell a story and carry the personal touch of their maker.
