Margarita Malliri is an art jewelry designer and maker from Athens, Greece. She studied and worked in the field of architecture in Athens but her interest for the small scale and the direct contact with the produced object led her, in 2017, to the world of jewelry and the city of Florence. Since then she divides her living and working time between Greece and Italy.

Margarita approaches jewelry as a storytelling medium through which she seeks to explore the visual representations of her cultural background. Her work is mainly inspired by the fields of mythology and folk art as well as the natural world. She believes that jewelry pieces act as symbolic objects that could carry a story and that they eventually become personal reference points and companions.
