Crafting Joy: The Process of Making Functional Stoneware Ceramics

Marie's creative process involves about 8 steps, including throwing, trimming, drying, kiln firing, sanding, glazing, a second firing, and final sanding for a smooth finish. This takes approximately 2 weeks per piece, allowing for thorough refinement. She mixes her own glazes, ensuring only the best make it into her collection.
