Ambra, 31 years old, born in Ravenna now based in Milan.
Ambra is curious by nature, she loves creativity in all its forms, materials, colors, animals, landscapes and unexpected views.
She moved to Milan for university studies and after working as an assistant set designer for several years, she decided to pursue this career as a freelancer.
Working as a set designer she soon became passionate about the combination of different objects, textures, shapes and thanks to continuous research and experimentation.

The facinating process of natural dye

The fabrics are washed to eliminate production residues, after washing they are mordant with different techniques and finally dyed in the dye bath which is made with elements of vegetal origin, powders, flowers and roots. The fabrics must remain soaked for at least one night.
