Double Trouble Bologna is a sustainable fashion brand founded in Bologna in 2015. The mission is to combine the art of craftsmanship with an Afro-Gabonese-inspired aesthetic, part of the origins of the two twins and founders: Margherita and Caterina Libouri.
The leather are of primary quality, coming from company stocks or from local Italian tanneries, in order to support sustainable fashion and, when possible, attentive to the reuse of materials.
One of the accessories most appreciated by their clients is the symbol of the city of Bologna, the Tortellino. Made strictly in genuine leather and to be customized with your initials.

A local studio, a small production
All accessories are created in the studio located in Bologna with selected leathers.
Caterina and Margherita make everything by hand from the design to the products final touch.
Recycled leather
The brand was born from the desire to differentiate and pay attention to sustainability. Create accessories with leftovers leather, avoiding consuming the planet’s resources, is the philosophy. The brand mainly produces accessories made from recycled leather coming from production waste and Italian warehouse inventories.

The concept of sustainable fashion is essential in Double Trouble Bologna's work, as well as the idea of slow fashion. They believe that the world of fashion must change the paradigms it has been based on up to now and overcome that consumerist fashion model focused on quantity rather than quality.
