“I believe that jewelry is not only the adornment, but a philosophy surrounding it. It brings up questions like: why are you putting this piece on? What message does it bare? How does the piece you wear so closely to your body make you feel and what does it symbolize to you? Why have you chosen this producer? What processes and hands did each of it’s components pass through? For me jewelry making is very meditative. The process of delving into concepts with you helps me shed light onto the aforementioned questions.”

She was born and raised in Kazakhstan, between endless steppes and enormously tall mountains, amongst the bitter smell of sagebrush.

The country and its culture shaped her character, and that is where she got close to jewelry, helping her family with the jewelry store and traveling to the factories and different suppliers in many parts of the world.

Thirteen years ago, she moved to Barcelona to study. The lightness of the Mediterranean and its people swept her away and filled her with healthy madness. There, she earned her BBA degree and later studied arts applied to jewelry and sculpture. Today, you can find her in her studio in Paris, where she got attracted by its people and their art in jewelry.
