Illaripuna
Illaripuna is participating in Design Week with an appointment at Design Variations 2024, the event sponsored by MoscowPartners that brings together designers, brands, universities and stakeholders from the international scene. The brand created by Argentine designer Magdalena Sanchez de Bustamante with the aim of recovering and enhancing the ancestral techniques of the Andean regions will thus present Willka Hilos Sagrados, the new collection of rugs, tapestries, ponchos and blankets made by hand and precisely for this reason intimately linked to the sacred ritual of weaving. According to tradition, yarns can assure love and protection to the dyers, spinners, grandmothers and mothers who work them, protecting them not only from the weather but also from dark energies. And at the same time revealing their deep connection to the Andean countries.
On The Rocks
This Milan Design Week 2024, Bottega Veneta is bringing some serious style to Palazzo San Fedele with "On The Rocks," a collab masterpiece alongside Cassina and Fondation Le Corbusier. Swing by between April 16 and 20 to catch this cool setup, featuring the swanky Le Corbusier tabouret LC14 Cabanon stools that already turned heads at the Fall Winter 2024 fashion show. And here's the kicker: these stools are rocking a unique burnt wood vibe, thanks to a cool Japanese technique that not only armors them up but also brings out those mesmerizing wood grain patterns, making it a total one-of-a-kind show.
