Margherita Vaghi is the founder and creative director of Labolsina, a brand that transforms upholstery fabrics from luxury hotels into handcrafted, limited-edition bags. A creative professional with a background as an art director in advertising agencies, Margherita lived for many years in Spain, a country she is deeply connected to and from which she draws inspiration — even dedicating her brand’s name to it.

The fabrics she uses come directly from her family’s warehouse: for more than forty years, her father furnished prestigious hotels across Italy and beyond. Leftover premium materials, no longer in production, become a precious starting point for her creations.
Since 2010, Margherita has personally overseen every step of the creative process, crafting unique bags — The bag — that celebrate sustainability, Italian craftsmanship, and a responsible approach to luxury.
