Philosophy
What we care about the most is creating objects that feel honest pieces that speak about the body in a free, inclusive and unapologetic way.
The idea of shaping female forms in ceramics comes from our deep connection with feminism and from our grandmother, Mery, a woman who, from our very first days, quite literally taught us how to live. Our work is therefore deeply rooted in our personal story as women in the world.
The concept behind our creations is to challenge stereotypes and overturn the objectification of bodies within a patriarchal society, transforming them into forms that are free to exist, to be seen and to be experienced in their own space.
We are inspired by real bodies, everyday gestures, intimacy and the idea of reconnecting with oneself. Our work comes from observation, personal experience and the desire to turn something deeply human into a tangible form.
What we enjoy the most is the process itself working with our hands, shaping each piece, and watching something raw become expressive. But above all, we value the connection our pieces create: a moment of recognition, freedom and awareness for those who encounter them.
