The beauty of leather is in what time leaves behind
Our story began in 1960 in Arzignano, thanks to our beloved grandfather, who laid the foundations of the family business and began working with and trading bovine and calf wet-blue hides. From Arzignano, he brought the results of his work to Tuscany and Bassano del Grappa, building a strong and lasting knowledge of the leather industry over the years.
Today, this heritage has evolved into finished leather products, through the meeting of Cristina, a determined and enterprising woman with deep knowledge and intuition for leather, and Sofia, young, creative and ambitious, with a strong passion for things that live, endure and gain character over time.
Leather, more than any other material, embodies this idea: it lives, evolves and carries a story with it.

Sofia brings the ideas and turns them into reality.
It was Sofia’s idea to create this new project — and the name TSB — The Splits Beyond. A brand that remains deeply rooted in the heritage of the family business, while looking towards a new vision built on craftsmanship, research and contemporary design.

Technique
Each TSB bag begins with a different story, because no two hides are ever exactly the same. The leather is carefully selected and cut, giving each piece its own character. The assembly varies from bag to bag: crocodile-effect and woven designs require particular handcrafting skills and extra time. Great attention is given to every detail, from the first cut to the final finish. Depending on the leather, drying time and complexity of the design, each creation can take from one to three weeks.
Materials
TSB works primarily with bovine and calf leather, choosing each hide for its texture, softness, structure and natural character. She believes the material is the starting point of every creation: some leathers are smooth and soft, others are suede, embossed or textured, each offering a different personality. The choice of leather guides the design of the bag, from clean silhouettes to woven and crocodile-effect creations, where the material becomes the main feature. Great attention is given to how each leather ages, evolves and gains character over time.
Philosophy
TSB is inspired by people and the way they experience life: their style, their gestures, the places they live in and the moments they choose to remember. Its inspiration comes from around the world — from travels, different cultures and the small everyday details that make each person unique.
At the heart of TSB is the desire to carry forward the tradition of leather and its craftsmanship, keeping its roots alive while giving them a contemporary expression.
TSB believes that a bag should not simply follow a season. It should live with its owner, accompany them through time and become more personal through every experience.
This philosophy is especially reflected in the Madaline, one of TSB’s most important projects.
Today, TSB aims to take this vision beyond its roots and into the world, sharing its story, craftsmanship and passion for leather with an international audience.
