Cortona, TUSCANY
The Art Of Creating Atmosphere
Tamara Godivier, French-Chilean, and Marcus J. Cotterell, Australian-Italian, both grew up immersed in multicultural environments, learning early on that objects carry meaning. Creativity has always been the language through which they express themselves. With their diverse backgrounds and a shared sensitivity to form, atmosphere, and storytelling, TA•MA became a natural extension of who they are. Their collections are not just products, they are expressions made tangible, objects that anchor. Through them, they translate their influences, memories, references, and vision of beauty.
Having lived in cities such as Paris and Rome, leaving urban life for the Tuscan countryside marked a turning point. Slowing down, building a family, and living closer to nature brought them closer to rhythm, to the land, and to ancestral craftsmanship.
Surrounded by centuries of artisanal knowledge and cultural depth, they felt drawn toward the authenticity of handmade objects, materials shaped slowly and intentionally by human hands.
