The art of slowing down: made slowly, made to last.

Aure is an upcycling initiative founded in 2024 by three sisters, rooted in the belief that waste is often a matter of perspective.

They recover high-quality deadstock textiles from Italian manufacturers and transform them into one-of-a-kind home textiles and linens—pieces designed not only to be used, but to be lived with.

Working exclusively with existing materials—often set aside due to minor imperfections, cancelled orders, or overproduction—they avoid new manufacturing and instead reimagine what already exists into thoughtful, enduring creations.

Technique

The process begins with the research and selection of Italian deadstock fabrics, carefully chosen for their quality, texture, and hidden potential. Each piece is carefully checked and crafted by local artisans through a slow, detail-driven process, produced in limited quantities. The full process typically takes 3–4 weeks.

Each fabric is carefully selected and manually checked to ensure the highest quality, and any major imperfections are removed during the process. Minor irregularities may remain and are to be considered part of the product’s value—an expression of its origin, craftsmanship, and the nature of working with existing, unused materials.

Yes. We offer bespoke options, from bed linens to table settings, tailored to specific dimensions and needs. Availability depends on the fabrics currently in stock.

The fabrics we use are of exceptional quality and, if sold through traditional channels, would typically be priced significantly higher. By working with existing materials, we are able to avoid the high costs of newly produced fabrics, offering a high value for price without compromising on durability or craftsmanship.
