Join TA-DAAN and Malerba for a workshop at Milano Certosa District on occasion of Women's Day.
In this new hands-on session of you’ll create your own tote bag with eco-printing.
Flowers, leaves and roots hold immense potential, both life-giving and dye-making. During this time together, we will see how nature's designs can be transferred to fabric, using elements such as dried flowers, barks, petals, roots and mushrooms. We will create a printed artifact together using the eco-printing technique, a process that leaves room for experimentation, the combination of different elements, and individual taste and creativity.
It will be a profound experience, in harmony with the natural elements: water, fire, colors and scents. A slow and ritual moment, an opportunity to carve out a space for introspection and listening to one's feelings, releasing instinct and imprinting a personal intention in an object.
We will provide you with all the materials. The natural resources and processes used are chosen with sustainability in mind. Flowers and fabric are sourced from small producers or growers.
This workshop is run by Malerba - Erika Comin & Anelle Taulé
