Regenerating waste into design pieces

Julien and Sandra created mana to tackle one of the main issue with recycling: only around 25% of plastics produced worldwide are recycled, the rest going to waste to be buried or straight to the sea. Mana regenerates food packaging into design pieces with the goal of fueling the recycling initiatives and help divert waste from going into nature.

On the day to day, Sandra handles social media and Julien is more of the machine guy! Together they discuss potential designs and iterate until the result looks good to them both (which can be a long process!).
Sandra has an agency background but always had an eye for design and crafts; Julien has spent some time in various service sectors like events and marketing before realizing he wanted more meaning in his daily activities. Mana is not his first project in conscious production though, having previously been involved in vegan fashion.
