La récréation Milano began with a feeling of too much: an overwhelming, overload of senses, of consumption, of mass production. This growing awareness of sustainability, of humanity, of time that passés lead to the need to (re)center.

Each (re)creation of la recreation is new design (re)made by hand in Italy.

Technique

Each creation of la récréation Milano is long process, first of all, hunting deadstock fabric, vintage material and antique bedspread around Italy. Then wash it. Then we looking for the best way to cut the fabric to show in the best the pattern. Each one is made and sew in Milan in our atelier. Long process for special item.

Vous vous demandez peut-être...

Can I have the same one in another size?

Nope because upcycling is always different, you can maybe have one from the same bedspread (colours and pattern) but it won’t be exactly the same. We don’t do series! You have unique pieces in your hand.

Can I have without franges?

Of course if an item has got franges we can cut them and made to order for you. Unless we can’t add franges.
