WASABI is chromaticism, texture, style and craftsmanship

Mariana is a psychologist and art therapist from Milan, Italy, born and raised in Varese, with a passion for artistic and expressive forms and artistic influences, using different materials.

She started knitting in her bedroom, thanks to her first knitting needles, a gift from a friend.
She created the brand Wasabi, of which she is the founder, producer and designer.

Wasabi means creating unique pieces by knitting and crocheting. Her garments are all individual pieces with a contemporary taste born from an unexpected color contrast between strong and unusual colors.
The creative process is marked by improvisation and is similar to what an artist's process can be, only instead of tempera she uses yarns; she picks up tools and is transported and immersed in the creative flow and that is where the work takes shape.
