Benedetta Grasso, an Italian designer and artisan based in Porto, Portugal, brings a delicate touch to her craft. With a background in languages and literatures, her creative journey has been shaped by diverse experiences and eclectic interests. Inherently creative, Benedetta has a deep appreciation for poetry, nature, crafts, and manufacturing. It was the combination of these interests that led her to immerse herself more deeply in ceramics during the first lockdown in March 2020.

Co-founding the Multidisciplinary Arts and Crafts Space (MACS) in Porto, Benedetta honed her skills as a ceramist and metalsmith, exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries of her craft. Motivated by a desire to create objects that are both beautiful and functional, Benedetta founded TOBE, a project dedicated to crafting everyday essentials with a focus on authenticity and sustainability.
Alongside her passion for handmade craftsmanship and working with materials, Benedetta choose to embrace a new creative possibilities, mastering silversmithing techniques. This additional expertise enriches her creative repertoire, allowing her to explore new dimensions in her artistic expression.
