ANDOR is a small team from Portugal, based in Barcelona since 2007. Dani has a degree in philology, literature, and translation, and Helder has a technical degree in sculpture and wood carving. Both design and produce hand-carved solid wood and textile art pieces. They worked in different professional careers until 2020, the year in which the pandemic made them rethink their lives and encouraged Helder to recover the traditional wood carving techniques he had studied, creating a unique project in which he designed a specific pattern for skateboards, eliminating the need for sandpaper, ANDOR Skateboards.

Dani, eternally passionate about making things with her own hands, trained over the years with different technical workshops and fell in love with the potential of natural fibers. And thus ANDOR Studio was born at the beginning of 2023. They rescue traditional techniques and connect them with modern life, always using natural and sustainable raw materials, to create both decorative and utilitarian design pieces, inspired by their Atlantic & Mediterranean experiences, a fusion between the eternal longing for their origins and the experience of living on the other side of the peninsula.
