Rita Botelho is a Portuguese product and jewelry designer. She collaborated with a range of both national and international product and jewelry companies, including Benetton's creative centre FABRICA in Italy, Ricordi & Sfera in Japan, Omnia in Portugal and Jonathan Radetz in Germany.
In November 2019, Rita created her own jewelry brand: Piino. She designs and makes jewelry pieces by hand in her atelier in Porto.

"Piino technique"

Piino pieces combine precious metals with polymer clay. They have a minimalist aesthetics with a three dimensional twist. The studs are attached to the polymer clay with the “Piino Technique”, a method created by Rita Botelho, that does not use any kind of glue.

Piino pieces are available in a great variety of colors and are made with polymer clay and 935 silver 24k gold filled studs.

Polymer clay is a non-toxic vinyl plastic with incredible properties that can last a lifetime when properly baked.
