Rita Botelho is a Portuguese product and jewelry designer. She collaborated with a range of both national and international product and jewelry companies, including Benetton's creative centre FABRICA in Italy, Ricordi & Sfera in Japan, Omnia in Portugal and Jonathan Radetz in Germany.
In November 2019, Rita created her own jewelry brand: Piino. She designs and makes jewelry pieces by hand in her atelier in Porto.

"Piino technique"

Piino pieces combine precious metals with polymer clay. They have a minimalist aesthetics with a three dimensional twist. The studs are attached to the polymer clay with the “Piino Technique”, a method created by Rita Botelho, that does not use any kind of glue.

Piino pieces are available in a great variety of colors and are made with polymer clay and 935 silver 24k gold filled studs.

Polymer clay is a non-toxic vinyl plastic with incredible properties that can last a lifetime when properly baked.

How long will this product last?

The products from Atelier Piino are made of polymer clay, which is a non-toxic vinyl plastic with incredible properties that can last a lifetime when properly baked.

How best to care for Atelier Piino products?

You can first clean polymer clay and the studs with water (can be warm but not too hot) and soap, then gently rub the piece with a soft cotton cloth to slightly polish it.
